CannaCollecta™ is announcing its first series of collectable and exclusive, limited edition, curated Cannabis digital art produced as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) on the blockchain at the Cannabis Expo at The Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday, 18 November.
Reflecting on the plant’s spirited community, this initial collection called ‘The Madness Collection’ reflects the fear and scare tactics that struck the chords of society as prohibition propaganda first surfaced in the 1930s, with films like Reefer Madness — shouting words like ‘Sin – Degradation – Vice – Insanity!’ A media piece that pushed a frenzied panic, and which is now deemed a cult classic, accurately representing the oppression and demonization of a plant loved and used by a community of millions, worldwide.
Available as limited edition NFT ‘art-i-facts’ highlighting this movie, ‘The Madness Collection’ will kick off the first of the CannaCollecta™ series of collections when it is revealed worldwide on the 25th of November 2021.
A portion of sales from various collections will be donated to Fields Of Green For All (fieldsofgreenforall.org.za), a South African activist and lobbying organization that seeks to make Cannabis available to all, in all its forms, and also the Last Prisoner Project in the USA (lastprisonerproject.org) who seek to liberate those still incarcerated for the crime of Cannabis possession or dealing, in support of their unconditional work in the Cannabis community.
The collection, minted and promoted by Fixed Earth (fixedearth.art), will be profiled on www.cannacollecta.com and made available for sale and auction on the Binance NFT marketplace.
