Is The California Dept Of Fish And Wildlife Exhibiting At The 2021 Emerald Cup?

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) will be at the Emerald Cup Harvest Ball in Sonoma County on December 11 and 12.

CDFW will be participating in a panel discussion with cannabis cultivators and hosting two information tables. One information table will have cannabis permitting materials, wildlife-friendly literature and available staff to answer questions about the cannabis program. The other table will be set up with computers and internet connections to help anyone needing information or help with CDFW’s online notification system and other project related cannabis permitting questions. Those interested in discussing project related questions are encouraged to bring any and all paperwork related to CDFW. No question is too big or too small for staff. Both tables are located in the Hall of Flowers.

“To keep moving the regulated market forward, we need to listen to and partner with commercial cannabis cultivators of all sizes,” said Jeremy Valverde, CDFW’s Cannabis Program Director. “At this year’s event, cannabis program staff will be speaking on a panel with cultivators and connecting with operators at our information tables to better understand what we can do to help the regulated market thrive.”

Panel Topic and Time:

Saturday, December 11 from 3:00 – 3:45 p.m. – Garden Annex Building
